We’ve Officially Moved In!
After acquiring our MRF office in Bangnon last year, we saw a perfect opportunity to give our Moken
children a more comfortable, supportive home closer to their schools on the mainland.
New Engine for the Koh Lao School Boat
For the Moken children living in the village on Koh Lao, there are only two ways to reach the Thai school on the other side of the island: a grueling and sometimes dangerous 45 – minute trek through the jungle, or a 10 – minute trip by school boat.
Children of the Mekong
One of our largest supporters is a French organization called Enfants du Mekong (Children of the Mekong) who have been staunch supporters of the Moken children of Koh Lao for many years and are now also supporting our Foundation.
